The Saints "Reloaded" 2.2
After two consecutive and inexplicable losses to FC Orhei and FC Iskra-Stal, the team from Suruceni has been buried alive by some local journalists and commentators. The rest of the season, according to the mentioned sources would be full of shame, defeats and running rats.
The lesson of those two losses with the total score of 13 to 0, was that we found out something new about ourselves - we have the force to revive. We must find the force to bring back to life our team spirit. And our boys proved to the whole football society from the country that youth and lack of experience should not be underestimated. After all - football is a very unpredictable game.
Right before the match against one of the leaders of the Championship- FC Dacia, a team that stated it had had champion ambitious this year - nobody thought of any other result then loss or, maybe, a draw between the two teams. "You'll see, we will go back to Kishinau with 4 goals scored and three points for the table", told me one of the Dacia's staff members. And it was hard to respond something opposite to his words for me.
But, after the first five minutes things have radically changed - the first goal our defender Posmac scored from a header, contributed to the resurrection of hope in my chest. The Saints were playing from the defense, and had had several good moments on counter-attacks. The crucial moment of the match proved to be the 25th minute when the referee shows a red card to Dorin Rotaru for what he said was the fault of the last hope. On the replay it is clearly seen that the defender was not the last and that the fault deserved a simple yellow. But this is football.
And so we remain in 10. As it was clear after the first minute after Rotaru's fault and expulsion, Dacia started a real siege of our goal. And they managed to score a goal after 1 minutes of their one-player advantage. Hamid's shot from a short range went straight into the ner of our goal. 1 : 1.
After the first half, the only striker from our side - Sergiu Istrati - was replaced by a defender, so that things did not get worse. And they didn't indeed. Just in the beginning of the second half Dumitru Bogdan - a player of the junior national team - found himself without a defender nearby and won the duel with the adversary goalkeeper - 2:1. Now this was a real surprise. Nobody could imagine that Sfintul Gheorghe would score a goal being in 10, against FC Dacia - except us, the members of the team and fan-club.
The rest of the second half was dominated by FC Dacia, which had several moments and scored only one goal. The final result - 2:2, was a real victory for our heroes, and a defeat for the Yellow Wolves - as FC Dacia calls itself.
And it did not matter that the next match against Olimpia Balti we lost with 2 to 0. Our boys were feeling "reloaded". Who knows - maybe the rest of the championship we will be playing as "totally reborn"? Time will show.
cred ca urmatorul meci va fi unul si mai bun........ Astept un joc bun!
